On our way to Velbastað we stop close to Stórutjørn where we park the car and start walking towards Reynsmúlalág. We will pass a gate the farmer has given the name Perluportrið – pearly gate – before we have a short stop at a rostrum with old history.

We will follow the path with cairns to Kirkjubø, where we will see Kirkjubømúrin, the old church and the old farmhouse.

We drive back to our car by public bus.
