Daytour – Suðuroy
NB: Only Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
After pick-up – an hour prior to departure – we drive directly to the ferry Smyril and sail to Suðuroy. Sailing trip takes 2 hours.
We sail passing Sandoy and the view to Skúvoy, passing Stóra Dímun og Lítla Dímun, before we arrive Tvøroyri.
We drive south on the island, firstly to Fámjin, where we will see the first faroese flagg. Then we drive via Hovseggin to Hov, Porkeri and Vág.
Afternoon meal in Vágur.
In Vágur we will see Vágseið and Eggjarnar, where we have a stunning view to Beinisvørð and the birdcliffs on the west side of the island.
From here we drive to Sumba via Hestin and to Akraberg.
If we have time we will visit Hvalba and Sandvík, where we can see old coal mines, before we take the ferry Smyril back to Tórshavn.
Driving back to pick-up place.
Your guide is grown-up in Vágur and has local knowledge.
